1998 Tucked away on the edge of the Bristol Fruit Hills is a small outbuilding, commonly called the Gnomes Hideaway, we create all kinds of weaving supplies, toys, wooden spoons, bowls and other wonderful items. We use Walnut, Cherry, Maple, Birch, and other hardwoods in our designs. Each creation is unique, rarely are there ever two exactly alike.In the main craft room, known as the Fairy Ring, we transform many types of fabric into ornaments, doll clothes, stuffed toys, and many whimsical creations. Some of the doll clothes are even fashioned from original 19th century patterns. Together the Gnomes Hideaway and the Fairy Ring are called Finniwig Studios. It is love of creating and sharing with others that has made this fanciful world where we live and work.
